A recent report proves that the abstinence-only experiment has failed: abstinence-only programs were shown to have no effect on the sexual abstinence of youth. Yet, the federal government continues to pour funding into these programs. Abstinence-only programs fail to give youth the factual information they need to make responsible decisions and keep themselves safe.
